Microsoft has begun selling the Surface Pro tablet on Sunday, Feb 3rd at Microsoft Stores nationwide.

The Surface Pro is one of Microsoft's first foray into the tablet market, competing against the likes of Apple's iPad and Google's Nexus 7. The Surface Pro comes with an Intel Ivy Bridge chip and a 4-GB solid-state drive.

The 10.6 -inch display offers a resolution of 1,920x1,080 resolution which offers 2 million pixels to feast your eyes on.

Tech website CNet did a review of the Surface Pro at CES 2013, and said that the new tablet by Microsoft has a display which, "is one of the best I've ever seen on a small Windows computer" and its, "capacitive multitouch felt buttery-smooth."

Although the Surface Pro does offer some nice features in a compact tablet size, it's price tag of $899 for the Windows 8 version may push away shoppers looking to scoop up a tablet in 2013.
