Modem disconnects after 10 minutes - Time Warner Internet

This question is about "Modem disconnects after 10 minutes", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. I have a Arris 6141 that will disconnect 10 minutes and will not reconnect without a manual reboot. I was recently upgraded to Maxx and what was once a reliable modem is inoperable. TWC tech pretty much ch said the modem needs to be replaced. Is there a fix to this problem or do I need to go ahead with upgrade? If so any suggestions?
