My ATT Uverse app won't let me log in - DirecTV

I cannot log into my ATT Uverse app. It says, "UVerse mobile service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
I have an iPhone 6, with the latest IOS update. I've been unable to access the app since the last two updates. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It doesn't work. I've tried logging in multiple times. It doesn't work.
I miss being able to access my DVR from my phone (and iPad).
What can I do to make this app work?
