Question: My converter box is screwed up

I've been wondering why I see "no signal" when I try to get channels I used to get pretty confidently.

I'd then try removing the coax from the box and reconnecting it, then like twisting it, and tightening it down more. Sometimes the channel comes in then.

Obviously a bad connection there.

Then I found that if I applied a sideways force to the coax where it enters the converter box the channels I was used to are coming in steady now, not dropping out and showing me the "no signal" message.

It's just like the AC adapter for my Sangean AM/FM/SW Radio. If you just plug it in the radio gets no power. But if you plug it in and wrap the cord around the radio so there is a sideways force on it the radio is powered up.
