New customer having X1 cable box issues



My service was activated on July 4 and I have already had to reset the cable box several times.

sometimes it won't respond to the remote control or voice search stops working until i reset the box. Other times it claims it is having trouble accessing the internet yet the internet is working fine on other devices. The reset of the box take like 5 min and it's very annoying too have to do this so often. My old equipment from Dish needed a reset maybe once in 4-6 months.

Is the need for repeated resets of the X1 box normal?
