Here is a compilation of titles and plots now available via Netflix DVD. Some new, some old. I like straeming but I also go for the discs when I have to.

Bad Milo! A young married man with a boss from hell and a difficult mother has so much stress that a horrible creature has grown inside his digestive tract -- and pops out now and then to kill whoever's causing him problems.

Blue Jasmine The high life leads to high anxiety for a fashionable New York City homemaker in crisis who finds herself forced to live a more modest lifestyle in San Francisco. Woody Allen directs an ensemble cast that includes Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin.

In a World... Vocal coach Carol Solomon lives in the shadow of her father Sam, Hollywood's go-to movie trailer voice, as she tries to break into the field herself. Aided by her sister and a sound whiz friend, Carol jumps into an unexpectedly strange new career.

Instructions Not Included When Acapulco playboy Valentín finds a baby girl on his doorstep, he hightails it across the border to locate the infant's mother. But when she proves elusive, Valentín unexpectedly begins to develop feelings for the tot.

The Starving Games In this satirical take on The Hunger Games, a young girl named Kantmiss takes part in a vicious competition that pits adolescents against one another. The tongue-in-cheek comedy also spoofs The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes and the Harry Potter saga.
Best Man Down After casting a raucous shadow over Scott and Kristin's wedding, hard-partying best man Lumpy dies, derailing the couple's honeymoon plans. But as they plan Lumpy's funeral, the newlyweds uncover some surprising facts about their obnoxious friend.

Captain Phillips In this exciting adventure based on true events that made international headlines, Tom Hanks portrays Capt. Richard Phillips, who is taken hostage by Somali pirates after they hijack his cargo ship, and the U.S. Navy's efforts to rescue him.

Charlie Countryman Led to Romania by haunting visions, young American Charlie Countryman falls hard for an alluring cellist whose father has recently died -- and whose violent past could bring about his own demise.

Island A psychological thriller based on the acclaimed novel by Jane Rogers, Island is a haunting tale of yearning, retribution and redemption. Abandoned at birth, Nikki Black has spent most of her life in 'care' sustained only by fairy-tales and fantasy novels. Incapable of love, fearful and desperate for revenge, she decides to find her birth mother, confront her... then kill her.

Sunlight Jr. Hard times befall an already struggling convenience-store clerk and her paraplegic boyfriend when they're evicted from the seedy motel they call home, and she loses the job that barely supports them.

The Prey This thriller follows the ups and downs of thief Franck Adrien, who's serving prison time for a job whose proceeds he's safely stashed away. But when the hidden loot and his family are compromised, Franck has no choice but to bust out early.

1 Set during the heyday of Formula One Grand Prix, this full-throttle documentary chronicles a legendary generation of drivers who raced on the edge, with many paying the ultimate price as technology outstripped track safety.
