New 'Hemlock Grove' trailer released by Netflix

Another upcoming original show that will be made available for binge-viewing by Netflix is 'Hemlock Grove,' which is a series that will mark director Eli Roth's first foray into television.

The show is set to debut on April 19th this year. Its cast includes: Famke Janssen (X-men, GoldeEye), Dougray Scott (Mission Impossibe II), Emilia McCarthy (Babel), Aaron Douglas (X-men 2, Battlestar Galactica, I Robot), and others.

Hemlock Grove is adapted from Brian McGreevy's novel, with a synopsis that reads:

The series revolves around the eccentric residents of a dilapidated former Pennsylvania steel town and the murder of 17-year-old Brooke Bluebell. Through the investigation, the town's seamier side is exposed, revealing that nothing is what it seems.
The first trailer showed a different side of the film, one much more inline with the movies that Eli Roth has worked with on the big screen, perhaps with an attempt to appeal to fans of True Blood. Speaking of True Blood, as an aside, Alexander Skarsgard, who plays Eric in True Blood, is the brother of Bill Skarsgard who plays Roman Godfrey in this series.

Thise new trailer below shows more of the "seamier side" of Hemlock Grove.
