New service - XFinity

I have already put in 4 phone calls. I am trying to set up my new set top box. I cannot get anything on my TV screen. I have the cable from the wall plugged in to the cable in. I have the power on and I have the HDMI cord plugged into the box and plugged into input seven on my TV and my TV input source is set to input seven.
