Found an intersting story from Boston, MA today about state prisons getting ready for the digital transition.

The Department of Corrections has recently ordered 5,000 digital converter boxes which are scheduled to arrive sometime in November. Why? 68 percent of the Massachusetts 11,000 inmates have their own TVs. The converter boxes won't be handed out for free, they'll be sold to the prisoners at a cost of $30 per converter box.

The Department of Corrections said the taxpayers will not pay a cent of the prison upgrade. other news, we're still waiting for expired coupons to be renewed.
