Picture pixelization, choppy sopund



When I have more than two recordings I get picture pixelization and choppy sounds.

Its not channel or setbox dependent. The installer (sub contractor) left me a number to contact who is his employer, not Comcast. I think it may be the existing cable, that direct TV abandoned and then Uverse wouldn't use.

Am I required to go through Comcast sub contractors before calling service?

If I cant get a consistent picture I need to cancel in the 30 day window. I really don't want the same person out again.
