Ping Spikes / Latency Issues with Blizzard Servers - Time Warner Internet

#1
This question is about "Ping Spikes / Latency Issues with Blizzard Servers", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. Hi All,

over the past few months I've noticed that I get consistent ping spikes while playing online games from the company Blizzard. It will go from a normal 20-25ms ping to spikes of close to 60ms and cause severe rubber banding when it does.

I ran a WinMTR and it looks like the issues are on the Spectrum side; I reached out to Spectrum support and they are having a tech come out Saturday but after digging into it a big more it looks like the modem could be the issue? I am using a SB6190 and wondering if perhaps this issue cropped up when my package was bumped from 100MB to 200MB speed.

Attached a WinMTR to one of the Blizzard servers below for refernce

thanks in advance for any ideas!
