"Playback failed. No audio/video data packets received from server." - DirecTV

Using a DirecTV HD DVR, the kind that doesn't record on its own but is linked to the other 2 (recording) DVRs in the house. Sometimes it works, sometimes we get the above message. Sometimes resetting with the red button works, sometimes not. Sometimes unplugging the whole system works, sometimes not. Service techs were here this week, they adjusted the satellite (not sure why that would've made any difference, but whatever) and replaced the HD DVR. Still happening. BTW, service techs were completely unfamiliar with this problem, so I'm not crazy about calling them again.
