How many power outlets will it take to hook up my HDTV and my Xbox 360?

One for TV, one for Xbox.

Well both of those things require one power outlet a piece so two power outlets. Any additional outlets will be needed for anything else you decide to hook up like a cable box or sensor bars or whatnot.
