Problem with changing channels on Roku Player - XFinity

I have two Rodu streaming players and two streaming plus players. It doesn't matter which I choose for a TV, very frequently when I go to select another favorite channel, I get the channel icon displayed with three dots moving under it but it never tunes in. But when I hit the back key and try again, it often comes in or after a second attempt. I have 250mbps Xfinity internet and a C7 Archer 1750 router. THe router signal is fine so I have to narrow this continuing problem on either ROKU or the streaming app. Roku says it's the app. Is there a work around and/or when will this be fixed. Several on the ROKU community are also having this problem.
