Program playback - DirecTV

When I'm watching a taped program, or a movie that's already started, but I go back to the beginning, I get a couple of messages - please wait while prrogram is buffering (which comes on continuously and then it asks do I want to continue watching) or one that says internet speed is not fast enough for playback. May not have these exactly correct, but never experienced these problems with uverse.
