Recent issues with SB6141 - XFinity

For Recent issues with SB6141, XFinity-Comcast internet. I've been using my own modem SB6141 for over a year now an it has been working great. On October 1st something happened now now my internet cuts out at least once a day. When it goes down and I visit http://192.168.100.1/index.htm I see that "Cable Modem Status" is marked "Offline". If I don't do anything internet eventually come back ~20-30 minutes. I have tried replugging the power cord and detaching/reattaching the cable both on the wall and the modem. Sometimes this brings the modem back to life, but I'm not sure if it is just as fast as not doing anything.

I have considered calling a comcast technitian to check the line quality, but it seems that it should not have changed randomly like that given that it was working for a year now without any issues. My guess that there is something wrong with the modem: either it is glitching out or that comcast config push borked it. What are your thoughts?
