Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Confirmed, Specs and Info Leaked

Although Samsung mobile Chief, J.K. Shin, had confirmed last week that a Galaxy Note 8" model should be available sometime soon, TechBuffalo posted that the device will be called, "Galaxy Note 8.0", and be released in the first half of 2013.

Apparently TechBuffalo "stumbled upon" a product portfolio with the Samsung Note 8.0 (among other Samsung products to be released in 2013, which reports that the tablet will come in 3G and Wi-Fi flavors, with a 1,280x800-pixel LCD display, 5-megapixel camera, and 16GB or 32G. Check out the Samsung Product Roadmap at TechBuffalo's website.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 will join the already crowded arena of tablets including the Apple iPad and iPad Mini, and on sale as of Sunday this past week, the Microsoft Surface Pro. No word on pricing for the Samsung Android device yet, but shoppers should note that the 8.0 will probably sell for the same pricing as other Android tablets with similar features and display size.
