SB6183 constantly losing connection: Log shows T3 timeouts, missing settings, and Tim

This question is about "SB6183 constantly losing connection: Log shows T3 timeouts, missing settings, and Timing Sync probs.", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. I have the SB6183 running firmware D30CM-OSPREY-1.5.2.3-GA-01-NOSH on time warner in san diego. For at least a couple of months now, my cable modem seems to totally lose connection to my ISP about once every hour or two. It usually only lasts about 30 seconds, but it's enough to kick me out of my game, disconnect my video stream, etc. I'm seeing this in the logs:

Thu Oct 27 08:00:44 2016 Critical (3) No Ranging Response received - T3 time-outI've tried to google the issue, and it seems that the recent "Arris" branded firmware has some buggy code that is causing users to report similar issues from multiple ISPs. I've also read rumors that some of these SB6183s have bad power adapters. I can't find any official confirmation from Arris or TWC about those rumors, though.

I had a TWC tech come out last week to test my line, connection, etc., and he did every test and check under the sun and said my connection was great. Anyone else have a SB6183 and seeing this issue?
