Some episodes not broadcast?

Does anyone know why some episodes of some of the older shows are not broadcast? I notice this on shows like The Listener on ION but there seem to be other examples. Thx

I faced this issue back while accessing Netflix US library. There was a movie that was only accessible to US Netflix but when I tried to access it from the same account but from outside US, it didn't show up. So, I did some research and found that using an Anonymous VPN, you can connect to a US server and watch your favorite shows and access Netflix US libraries while you are traveling or simply not in the vicinity.
