I receive this message when trying to choose 4K (best available) in display settings. I picked up a new XG1v4 box to go with my new Sony A8H Oled TV. I hooked it up direct from box to tv with the hdmi cable provided to me with the box. The TV manual states that all four hdmi ports are hdcp 2.2 compliant. But I still can't view content in 4k, I can only choose 1080p. Not good! Do I have a bad cable? Does the box need an update?
Update: I just resolved my own issue by refreshing the X1 box. I can now select 4k resolution in display settings. Thought I'd post in case anyone else has this issue. With I had thought about the old "reboot" trick before trying everything else! 🙂
"Sorry, this isn’t working - HDCP 2.2 Compatible Port," is about XFinity-Comcast Television.
