tech came earlier to the appt and left - DirecTV

Today was supposed to be the installation day for uverse. The technician was going to be here 11-1pm. My husband came home, earlier, before 11 and saw the guy sitting at the corner. The tech left a msg at the home phone that he was here. But it was 10:45, when my husbnd called him back, he said it was late, he had already put it in a pool for other tech!
How can they do that? The window was 11-1 not all day.
they wanted to give me another day in 10 days, i was able to get one in 2 days, with the supervisors approval. My husband doesnt even want to switch anymore, we have xfinity.
just very upset with this, no respect whatsoever.
