Tech didn't show up for appointment, rescheduled and won't have internet for over a week. - Time Warner Internet

This question is about "Tech didn't show up for appointment, rescheduled and won't have internet for over a week.", with Time Warner Cable internet and apps. I had an appointment for this morning to have my internet setup. I received the confirmation call yesterday confirming my appointment. After hours of waiting and realizing that the tech wasn't coming today, I decided I should reschedule. After talking with a Spectrum rep, the earliest available appointment was Monday September 10th.

I'm very irritated. Is there any way I can get a tech to come or get internet before my scheduled date?
