TV is freezing nonstop - DirecTV

We just started with Uverse 6 days ago. We have had 2 days of trouble-free TV and 4 days of trouble. It keeps on freezing/pixilating/pausing every 2 seconds. We have called tech support, restarted modem and DVR countless times, got a "firmwear" update, changed HDMI cables, checked for tight cables--you name it, we've done it. What is the deal? I see countless complaints online. Is there something anyone can suggest before we dump this? We had Directv for years and never had a problem. Thought we'd save some money with an ATT bundle. HELP please!
