Unable to access my DVR using the app away from home - DirecTV

I am once again unable to access my DVR anytime I am away from myhome. It works fine while I'm home but once I leave my home I can no longer access my DVR. This was working fine just a few days ago (Tuesday 1-17-17) but I understand there was an update to the app on 1-18-17. I'm not sure if the update had anything to do with it but it's not working now. Can anyone else confirm if they are able to access their DVR away from home?
