Psych, which airs on the USA Network, has been renewed and will be back for an eighth season. In the process, two recurring characters will return for more fun during the new year.

View attachment 2334 Coming back for another show is Cary Elwes (Glory, The Princess Bride) as Pierre Despereaux. The character will be involved with the dark side of the London syndicate. This will be the fourth guest shot for Elwes.

Also returning for a fifth appearance is Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as Marlowe. Her previous appearances began in 2011.

In March, the show celebrated its 100th episode in a unique fashion, allowing fans on both the east and west coast to vote in real time for the identity of the killer via Twitter. The episode called "100 Clues" was based on Clue, the 1985 movie.

The popular Psych program is also one of several that currently airs reruns on the revamped G4 cabler, now called the Esquire Network. It joins shows like Burn Notice and Knife Fight, a competition reality show, on Esquire. Psych repeats are shown daily at 6pm, following Burn Notice.

Starring James Roday and Dule Hill, new episodes of Psych air on USA Network Wednesday nights at 10pm.
