"we couldn't conect to your DVR" And I can't watch on demand. - DirecTV

To watch my DVR on my mobile device outside of my wifi area I need to register my device with the DVR... But I keep getting "we couldn't conect to your DVR."

Also, everytime I go to search for "TV shows" or "movies" I get a message "Tv shows/ Movies is currently updating. Please check back in 1 hour." I had this system installed 7 days ago and have been checking at least 3 times a day but same message.

If I click on "On Demand" I get "1000(DTV) is currently not available."

Install tech connected an ethernet cable from my router to a box called swim.... I had to disconnect the ethernet cable in order to activate the wifi, but I still have had no luck

I have HR54-200 DVR and C61 genies.
