i think being consistent is key. it helps provide structure and discipline. this will help you instill the system that supernanny is attempting to use.

I agree about the consistency and persistence. I’ve been a nanny and the biggest mistake I see parents and other caregivers make is not being consistent especially in regards to discipline.

Oh yeah, another thing is the timeout seat or stool. Actually she calls it the naughty stool.
I've never nannied for a family that uses timeouts, or been allowed to use timeouts. But I've been asked for advice about using timeouts and I never could show the parents that it was a better form of punishment than the ones they had been using. Now I see exactly how to do it from watching Jo on Supernanny.
