Im just not interested in watching 3D at all. I think it mostly detracts from the experience, and when movies are made with 3D in mind, they add unnecessary shots merely to show off 3D, thus distracting from the story/plot/flow.
Not that your link isnt interesting. Just my personal opinion about 3D.
That being said, Ill probably make an effort to see Star Wars movies revamped in 3D. Ha! Ha!
You obviously didn't read the article, or just skimmed it. He was trying to say to directors to stay away from the intentional cheesey filming when looking at the camera and throwing crap at ya, and use the 3D as a more natural effect ie. a bird flying, and it's wing protrudes to give it that effect that part of it expands into your living space, or better depth to give an idea of how far something is away from you..
Star Wars 3D, I'd be a sucker to watch it, especially with laser blasts flying out of the screen. I am the fan of both aspects of the 3D, and the idea all together.
This will be my last post to this forum, the people in here just make off the cuff comments (exception of a few) without truly reading the article, or understanding the technologies their talking about. It's been fun arguing.. LATER!
