Tech idiot here so hope an answer is simple. All of a sudden I can't get channel 2. Have been getting it for YEARS & now nothing. In addition I'm getting channels I was never getting before - like channel 4. I don't have cable. I have rabbit ears. I mean the TV has rabbit ears. I watch Judge Judy so channel 2 is a must. Thanks for any help.

Guest,

It appears you are using this indoor antenna: https://www.amazon.com/GE-34137-UltraPro-Antenna-Channels/dp/B01BY033T4

Small indoor flat-panel antennas are a poor choice for VHF reception and its likely a 1950's set of rabbit ears would perform better because the long telescoping rods are similar in length to the frequencies you want to receive. You can try your current antenna in different locations, even in your attic because antenna height can help.

I did what Guest said and it worked. Go to TV Fool and find your ABC channel for your area. Find the virtual station number. Then go to Guide on your remote and enter the Virtual Number. Voila! You should see your ABC listing and be able to watch ABC like I did. Cross your fingers!! By the way I have a Samsung Smart TV and Clearstream Indoor Antenna. Don't give up til you reposition your antenna numerous times to get the most channels and best reception. Scan, scan, scan.

I figured it out. You can scan channels under antenna. BUT you can also scan channels under cable. After doing the scan channels under cable ABC pops up as 7-1 with the rest of the channels that were gound under antenna.

Wireless router interference?

Is your wireless router near the antenna? If it is, Consider separating the two with several feet between. It worked for me.

No luck getting ABC in Orange County - Help please!

Hi All,

Hoping to get some help as I recently cut the cord in Orange County. Here's my fool report:

http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id=e6a4d1c1c65d34

I'm using this indoor antenna, which says it broadcasts UHF and VHF https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FUB4ZG8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No matter where I place the antenna, I haven't been able to get 7-1 (ABC) to show up. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Hector
