Why was there a signal outage for almost 24 hours - DirecTV

Yesterday Nov.2 2016 Iost the signal for my phone,tv,and internet around 1:00p.m. I was told that there was an AT & T outage in the area that was being worked on. I made several calls later in the day because my AT&T sevice was no still not working by 7:00p.m. This is unacceptable because we were not able to watch the World Series game. We had a group of people coming over but we had to cancel. I did not receive a signal until today at 1:00p.m. How do you plan to compensate all of your costumers who lost signals for almost 24 hours. I am very disappointed in what happened and I would like a response to this complaint.
