Will Ferell Tweets 'Anchorman 2' Trailer Will Run Before 'Dictator'

For those who didn't get enough of Ron Burgundy in the original "Anchorman", fear not, the legendary news man is making a comeback.

View attachment 1684 Will Ferell just tweeted that the "Anchorman 2" trailer will run in theaters on Tuesday at midnight right before showings of "The Dictator".

Straight from Burgundy's twitter account, "Dont get Twirter. Anchorman2 teaser w Dictator tom night. Dont know what a teaser is. World is crazy? Having a scotch."

The original film debuted in 2004, and went on to gross over $90 million worldwide. Starring Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, and Paul Rudd, the idea of a sequel had been thrown around back in 2008 but Ferrell had his doubts due to timing constraints with getting the cast back together.

That all changed when Ferrell appeared on Conan last month as Burgandy to announce that the sequel will indeed be produced.

"Anchorman 2" is scheduled to hit the theaters some time in 2014 according to IMDB.
