for several years i was getting some reception of 38.1, .1, .3, .4 from boston. it was not great at a level of 50 out of 100. for a week it has been zero, zip, nada. i am about 40 miles west from boston. can anyone near me confirm this?

Berniel,

WSBK-38 is now real channel 21. Have you rescanned your TV tuner? Is your antenna designed to receive the lower frequency channel? Regarding the signal "level" you used to receive, that's signal quality and not the signals' strength.

Jim

--------------------------------------
WSBK --- Digital: 21 UHF (Virtual: 38)

38.1: MyNetworkTV / CBS (alternate)
38.2: Heroes & Icons
38.3: Comet TV
38.4: Charge
38.5: Circle

Are all other OTA channels still coming in as they were before WSBK went away? If you have rescanned and still have no picture, the next step it to raise your antenna and rescan, and/or lower your antenna and rescan or relocate your antenna at different heights and rescan until you get a picture. If that's not successful its time to try a different antenna and --- rescan.
