[QUOTE="tempe21, post: 232606"]Let me try to explain this as best as I can. Recently, I purchased my first 4K UHD Blu-ray player, connected it directly to my 4K Vizio Smart TV. I have 3 HDMI ports on my TV, I have my XBOX One connected to one port, my Xfinity cable box connected to the second port and my Sony 4K player connected to the third port. None of these are connected to the cable box. Unfortunately, when I try to switch over to watch my Comcast channels, sometimes I get weird connection problems where the video looks like its shorting out, soometimes the audio wigs out. This would happen several times a day. Then, something occurred to me and I unplugged my HDMI cable from my 4K TV and the errors stopped happening. There is something with Comcast's cable boxes that is conflicting with 4K players. I'd like to know if Comcast has fixed this conflict, because it appears to be a hardware conflict between 4K UHD players and the cable box. I never have this problem with my XBOX One or my previous standard Blu-ray player. I'm at a loss and looking for some answers. "Xfinity X1 Cable Boxes Conflicting With 4K UHD Players," is about XFinity-Comcast Television.
